Boulders
Boulders are a great addition to any project, creating not only a bold statement, but they are often very functional. All of our boulders are rundle and are locally sourced from a quarry in Canmore Alberta and can be used to create structure and form as natural steps, walkways, grade changes and river beds.
Flagstone
Rundle flagstone is an important part of the designs we do. We use the stones for pathways, small dry packed walls and often as features in bubbler ponds and dry river beds. The flagstones range from 1 to 3 inches thick and are available in many different shapes and sizes.
Paver Patios and Walkways
Pavers offer many advantages over concrete – Many homeowners in Calgary will eventually experience cracking and breaking in their concrete as a result of Calgary’s harsh freezing and thawing we experience every year. Pavers are laid on a solid base of packed gravel and sand. They have polymer sand joints which allow for movement without damaging the patio. Another advantage is that pavers come in many different styles, sizes and colours and can be laid in any design and shape.
Retaining Walls
We offer a large variety of retaining walls which vary from cedar and pressure treated timber walls, concrete blocks and natural boulder walls. All of these options vary in price and functionality.

Natural stone has a variety of uses and adds timeless beauty to your yard. The most common stone we use is Rundle stone, locally sourced from Canmore. Rundle boulders are often incorporated into our designs for both walls and features in a yard. Rundle flagstone is also commonly used for pathways, dry packed walls and patios.
